Former Editor of the Official Windows Vista Magazine, Paul Douglas, has moved to the same position at Techradar.com.

Andy McCue, deputy editor of silicon.com, has left the CNET Networks UK site to go freelance.

Among his freelance work McCue will regularly write monthly columns for silicon.com including ‘lifehack’ advice for business execs and CIO profiles, as well as some writing and editing for environmental blog, Greenbang.

CIO Connect has appointed Mark Samuels as editor of CIO Connect magazine.

Samuels, who previously worked on Incisive Media's Computing and Computing Business, started his new role on 1 September 2008.

Blocks & Files has now been incorporated into Situation Publishing's The Register.

Jon Hay, previously editor of Euroweek, has joined FO Intelligence in the same role, with effect from September 1st.

Nick Yates replaces Daniel Wilkins as editor of Corporate UK.

The Grocer has hired Charlie Wright as web editor.

Former freelancer Meg De Jong has joined B2B Marketing as a full-time reporter.

Sita Shah has been appointed business reporter at SCRIP – World Pharmaceutical News. Shah was previously deputy editor at Animal Pharm.

Centaur Media's Precision Marketing magazine will now be published monthly.

Deputy Sports Editor James Brown is currently acting sports editor at the Daily Star while Lee Clayton is on extended leave.

Laura Roberts has been appointed mandrake writer at the Daily Telegraph. Roberts is currently show-business reporter at the Daily Mail, and will replace Jonathan Isaby who is leaving journalism. Reporter Richard Alleyne has been appointed science correspondent at the Daily Telegraph.

The Sunday Telegraph has launched a new lifestyle supplement, edited by Anne Cuthbertson.

Delia Smith has commenced a new weekly food column for the Daily Telegraph Magazine. She may be reached via the Telegraph at: magazine@telegraph.co.uk.

Piers Morgan has been appointed as a columnist for the Mail on Sunday Sport. 

Deputy city editor Lucy Farndon is now on leave from the Daily Mail. City news/investment editor Ian Lyall is covering in her absence

Andrea Hammett returns to The Sun as deputy health editor (Features) following a leave of absence.

Victor Mallet, Financial Times Asia editor, has moved from Hong Kong to Madrid. Mallet is now based in Madrid as the FT's Madrid bureau chief. David Pilling has succeeded Mallet as the Asia editor based in Hong Kong.  Defence & Security Editor Stephen Fidler has been appointed Latin America Editor at the Financial Times. Sylvia Pfeifer continues in the defence brief.  Reporter Delphine Strauss has been appointed Turkey Correspondent .

Dan Wootton, currently TV Editor at the News of the World, is to replace Rav Singh as showbiz columnist in November. Singh is leaving the newspaper to go freelance.

Lee Horton has left his position as sports editor at The People. James Brown continues to cover as acting sports editor.

Literary editor Susannah Herbert has been appointed news review editor at the Sunday Times. She replaces Eleanor Mills who is moving to The Times, and will be replaced as acting literary editor by Mark Holgate.

News editor of the Daily Mirror, Anthony Harwood, becomes Head of News, while Barry Rabbetts moves up from night news editor to replace Harwood as news editor. Former deputy news editor Euan Stretch is now South of England correspondent, and foreign editor Mark Ellis is now a specialist reporter.  Jane Kerr has joined the Sunday Mirror as features editor. She moves from a previous role as assistant news editor / forward planner at the Daily Mirror.
